Children Under 13 — Account Management

  • Parent Life 365 does not allow children under 13 years of age to independently create accounts on the platform.
  • Student accounts for children under 13 are created and managed by their school or district. Schools act as the responsible party for student account creation.
  • Student accounts are then linked to verified parent or guardian accounts, enabling family visibility into their child's school experience.
  • Parents must have an active, verified account to access their child's information through Parent Life 365.

Parental & School Consent

  • Parent Life 365 operates under the school's authority as a service provider. Schools obtain necessary parental consent as part of their enrollment processes.
  • Parents consent to their child's use of Parent Life 365 through their school's standard technology use agreements and enrollment documentation.
  • Parents can withdraw consent at any time by contacting their school administrator to remove the student's account linkage.
  • Schools are responsible for maintaining up-to-date parental consent records in accordance with their own COPPA policies.

No Advertising or Data Selling

  • Parent Life 365 does not display behavioral or targeted advertising to students or minors.
  • We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer any student data — including data about children under 13 — to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.
  • Student data is used exclusively to provide school communication, management, and family engagement features.
  • No student behavioral profiles are created for commercial purposes.
  • We do not use student data to train AI or machine learning models for commercial products beyond the platform itself.

Limited Data Collection

  • We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the platform for its intended school communication purposes.
  • For students, this includes: name, grade, school, enrollment status, and academic records provided by the school.
  • We do not collect social security numbers, biometric data, or financial information from students.
  • Session data (login timestamps, feature usage) is collected for platform security and improvement purposes only — not for profiling.

Parent & School Rights

  • Parents have the right to review their child's personal information held in Parent Life 365 at any time by contacting us.
  • Parents can request correction of inaccurate information about their child.
  • Parents can request deletion of their child's personal information by contacting jjdunbar20@gmail.com — processed in coordination with the school.
  • Schools have administrative rights to view, update, and delete student records within their school's scope.
  • Parent Life 365 will respond to parental requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically 30 days.

Student Account Protections

  • Student accounts cannot be made publicly visible. All student data is private and accessible only to authorized individuals.
  • Students' contact information, address, and personal details are never published or made searchable outside the platform.
  • Communications to students are limited to school-authorized staff and linked parent/guardian accounts.
  • All access to student records is audit logged. No anonymous access to student data is permitted.
