Payment Data: Payment transactions on Parent Life 365 are processed through enterprise-grade payment infrastructure partners. Parent Life 365 does not store card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment credentials directly on our servers.

What Information We Collect

Parent and guardian names, email addresses, and phone numbers provided during account registration.
Student information (name, grade, school enrollment) linked to your account by school administrators.
Payment information processed securely through enterprise-grade payment infrastructure partners. We never store card numbers or bank details directly on our servers.
Usage data such as login times, features accessed, and preferences — used only to improve your experience.
Messages exchanged between parents, teachers, and school staff through our platform.

How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve the Parent Life 365 platform, its features, and the services schools depend on.
To enable school-to-home communication between teachers, staff, and families.
To process payments for school fees, lunch funds, and authorized activities through trusted payment infrastructure partners.
To send you important notifications about your children's school life.
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data or student data with advertisers or third-party marketers. Ever.

Who Can See Your Data

Parents: can only view their own linked children's information — no cross-family access is possible.
Teachers: can only access students in their assigned classes.
School Administrators: can access information scoped to their assigned school only.
District Administrators: can access information scoped to their assigned district only.
Parent Life 365 staff may access platform data only for support, security monitoring, and legal compliance purposes — all access is audit logged.
We do not allow school staff to access family financial information except as necessary to process authorized payments.

How We Protect Your Data

All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS.
Passwords are never stored in plaintext. We use secure authentication provided by trusted identity platforms.
Our platform is designed with a security-first architecture, including role-based access control enforced at the database level.
We implement rate limiting, input validation, and audit logging on all sensitive operations.
Payment transactions are processed through PCI-compliant infrastructure partners. Card data is never stored on our servers.
Regular internal security reviews are conducted as part of our security-conscious development process.

Student Privacy (FERPA & COPPA)

Parent Life 365 is designed with FERPA best practices in mind. Student education records are made accessible to parents and authorized school staff only.
We are designed with COPPA best practices in mind. Student accounts for children under 13 are managed by the school and linked to parent accounts — children do not independently create accounts.
Student data is not used for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the school platform.
Schools retain ownership and control of their student data. Parent Life 365 processes data on behalf of schools, not independently.
We do not share student education records with third parties except as required to operate the platform (e.g., payment infrastructure partners) or as required by law.

Your Rights & Choices

You may request to view, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us.
Parents may request removal of their linked student records in coordination with their school administrator.
You may opt out of non-essential notifications in your account settings.
You have the right to request a copy of your data in a portable format.
